Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled for tour bookings made through our website, office, or authorized agents.
🧾1. Booking Confirmation
1. All bookings are considered confirmed only after advance payment and issuance of a confirmation voucher or email.
2. Guests must review all details (travel dates, hotel names, transport type, itinerary, inclusions, etc.) before making payment.
3. Any discrepancy should be reported within 24 hours of booking confirmation.

Guests may choose one of the following payment options:
Option 1: 100% Advance Payment, Pay 100% of the package amount in advance and get an instant 5% cash discount.
Cancellation policy:
1. Cancellation is allowed up to 14 days prior to the tour start date.
2. After that, no cancellation or refund request will be accepted.
3. Refund (if applicable) will be processed within 45 working days from the date of approval.

Option 2: 50% Advance + 50% on Arrival, Pay 50% of the package amount at the time of booking, and the rest 50% on arrival.

Option 3: 30% Advance + 70% on Arrival, Pay 30% of the package amount to confirm the booking, and the remaining 70% on arrival.
Cancellation policy:
1. If cancelled by the guest at any time, no refund will be provided.
2. Refunds will only apply if the tour is cancelled by the company.
3. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 45 working days.
🌦 3. Cancellation Scenarios
1. Reason for Cancellation, Refund Policy / Action
2. Natural Calamity / Act of God (e.g., landslide, flood, strike, etc.)
3. Guests will be provided the option to reschedule the same tour within 11 months (subject to availability and seasonal rates).
4. Government Restrictions (e.g., lockdown, permit closure), No refund possible, as per regional government directives.
5. Cancellation by Pahariyan Tourism Pvt. Ltd. Full advance amount will be refunded within 45 working days.
6. Cancellation by Guest (100% / 50% Advance Plans) 20% of the total package cost will be deducted as cancellation charges. Remaining amount refunded within 45 working days. Cancellation by Guest (30% Advance Plan) applicable.
🔄 4. Tour Modifications
1. Any modification in travel date, hotel, or destination after booking confirmation is subject to availability and additional cost.
2. Change requests must be made at least 14 days prior to the tour start date.
3. The company reserves the right to charge a rescheduling fee as applicable.
💰 5. Refund Process
1. All approved refunds will be initiated within 45 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
2. Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment (Bank/UPI/Card).
3. Processing delays due to bank holidays or third-party payment gateways are beyond our control.
4. No interest is payable on any refund amount.
🧾 6. Non-Refundable Components
1. Permit for the Restricted area charges once booked are non-refundable.
2. No refund for unused hotel nights, transport, meals, or sightseeing due to the guest’s late arrival, early departure, or personal reasons.
3. No partial refund will be given for any service not utilized.
⚖ 7. Legal Compliance
1. This policy adheres to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Information Technology Act, 2000, and Ministry of Tourism guidelines for tour operators.
2. Pahariyan Tourism Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to amend this policy at any time without prior notice.
3. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, India.
