Bhutan Tour Itinerary
🗓️ Day 1: Alipurduar Railway Station – Jaigaon
On arrival at Alipurduar Junction Railway Station, meet and greet our representative before proceeding to Jaigaon, the gateway to Bhutan. The journey covers approximately 60 km and takes around 2 hours. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. The rest of the day is free for leisure. You may explore the local market or simply unwind after your journey. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaigaon.
🗓️ Day 2: Jaigaon – Phuentsholing – Thimphu (175 km | Approx. 6 Hours)
After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities at the Bhutan Immigration Office in Phuentsholing. Once the permits are issued, begin your scenic drive to Thimphu, the charming capital of Bhutan. En route, enjoy breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, lush forests, waterfalls, and picturesque mountain villages. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. The remainder of the evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Thimphu.
🗓️ Day 3: Thimphu Full-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin a full-day sightseeing tour of Thimphu. Visit some of the city's most popular attractions, including:

Simply Bhutan Museum
National Folk Heritage Museum
Motithang Takin Preserve

🗓️ Day 4: Thimphu – Paro Sightseeing (55 km | Approx. 2 Hours)
After breakfast, drive to Paro, one of Bhutan's most beautiful valleys. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour covering:

Nya Mey Zam (Traditional Wooden Bridge)

🗓️ Day 5: Tiger's Nest Monastery – Jaigaon
After an early breakfast, proceed for the unforgettable hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), perched dramatically on a cliff approximately 900 metres above the Paro Valley. According to legend, Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) flew to this sacred site on the back of a tigress and meditated here, making it one of Bhutan's holiest pilgrimage destinations.
Guests may hire ponies (at an additional cost) for part of the ascent. After completing the hike, drive back to Jaigaon. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaigaon.
🗓️ Day 6: Jaigaon – Alipurduar Railway Station
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alipurduar Junction Railway Station for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Bhutan's peaceful monasteries, majestic mountains, rich culture, and warm hospitality.
