Gangtok & Darjeeling Tour
Day 1: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Gangtok
Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), meet our representative and transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim.
After check-in at the hotel, the rest of the day is free to explore the vibrant M.G. Marg, enjoy local cuisine, shop for souvenirs, or relax at your leisure.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2: Tsomgo Lake – Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to the famous Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.), a sacred glacial lake surrounded by majestic mountains.
Later, visit the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, one of the most popular attractions near the Indo-China border. After sightseeing, return to Gangtok.
Spend the evening at leisure exploring M.G. Marg.
(In case Tsomgo Lake remains closed due to landslides, snowfall, or adverse weather conditions, an alternate sightseeing tour will be arranged.)
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok Local Sightseeing
Visit Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Flower Exhibition Centre, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten Monastery, Nam Nang View Point, and Bakthang Waterfall.
Guests may also enjoy the Gangtok Ropeway (optional, at an additional cost).
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok – Darjeeling
After breakfast, check out and drive to Darjeeling, popularly known as the Queen of the Hills.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. The evening is free to explore Mall Road (Chowrasta), visit local cafés, and shop for handicrafts and tea.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 5: Tiger Hill Sunrise & Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early in the morning (around 4:00 AM), drive to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga.
On the return journey, visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, continue with local sightseeing covering the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Happy Valley Tea Estate, Japanese Peace Pagoda, and Japanese Temple.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 6: Darjeeling – NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB) for your onward journey.
