Silk Route with Gangtok Tour
DAY 1: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Rishikhola
On arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), meet and greet our representative and begin your scenic drive to Rishikhola via Sevoke. En route, halt for tea and light snacks (at your own expense) while enjoying the beautiful views of the Teesta River. Upon arrival, check in to your riverside homestay and enjoy a delicious lunch. The rest of the day is free to relax by the riverside or explore the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay at a homestay in Rishikhola.
DAY 2: Rishikhola – Aritar – Agamlok
After breakfast, drive towards Agamlok. En route, visit the 400-year-old Aritar Monastery and enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the picturesque Aritar Lake (optional, at an additional cost). Continue your journey to Agamlok and check in to your homestay. Spend the evening relaxing amidst the serene Himalayan landscape. Overnight stay at a homestay in Agamlok.
DAY 3: Agamlok – Zuluk
After an early breakfast, proceed to Zuluk (9,400 ft), one of the most scenic destinations on the historic Silk Route. En route, visit Quekhola Falls, Padamchen, the Century-Old Forest, and Lower Zuluk. Upon arrival, check in to your homestay and enjoy lunch. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the beautiful mountain village and experience its unique charm. Overnight stay at a homestay in Zuluk.
DAY 4: Zuluk – Nathang Valley
After breakfast, continue your journey to Nathang Valley. En route, visit the famous Thambi View Point, witness the breathtaking Zig Zag Road, and stop at Laxmi Chowk before reaching the stunning Nathang Valley. Check in to your homestay and relax while enjoying the magnificent high-altitude landscapes. Overnight stay at a homestay in Nathang Valley.
DAY 5: Nathang Valley – Gangtok
Wake up early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Eastern Himalayas. After breakfast, drive towards Gangtok, covering some of the most iconic attractions of East Sikkim, including Kupup Lake, Elephant Lake, Old Baba Mandir, Nathula Pass (subject to permit availability), Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, and Tsomgo (Changu) Lake. Upon arrival in Gangtok, check in to your hotel. In the evening, you may visit the vibrant MG Marg, explore local markets, and enjoy authentic Sikkimese cuisine. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
DAY 6: Gangtok – NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of the breathtaking Silk Route, the majestic Himalayas, and the warm hospitality of Sikkim.
