Silk Route, North Sikkim & Pelling Tour

Day 1: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Rishikhola

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, meet our representative and transfer to the serene riverside village of Rishikhola (Approx. 105 km | 5 hrs). Enjoy the scenic drive through the Himalayan foothills and lush forests. Upon arrival, check in to your riverside resort. Spend the evening relaxing by the crystal-clear Rishikhola River.

Overnight stay in Rishikhola.

Day 2: Rishikhola – Zuluk

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Zuluk, a picturesque village on the historic Old Silk Route.

En route, visit:

• Rishikhola River

• Aritar Lake

• Padamchen

• Pine Forest

• Scenic Himalayan viewpoints

Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings.

Overnight stay in Zuluk.

Day 3: Zuluk – Gangtok (via Old Silk Route)

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking Himalayan sunrise. After breakfast, proceed towards Gangtok via the historic Old Silk Route, covering:

• Zig Zag Road (32 Hairpin Bends)

• Thambi View Point

• Lungthung

• Tukla Valley

• Eagle's Nest Bunker

• Elephant Lake

• Kupup Valley

• Kupup Lake

Upon arrival in Gangtok, check in to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 4: Gangtok – Lachen

After an early breakfast, drive towards Lachen (9,400 ft.), one of North Sikkim's most scenic mountain villages.

En route, visit:

• Seven Sisters Waterfall

• Naga Waterfall

• Chungthang Confluence

• Other scenic waterfalls and viewpoints

Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.

Dinner and overnight stay in Lachen.

Day 5: Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake – Lachung

Early in the morning, drive to the magnificent Gurudongmar Lake (17,000 ft.), one of the highest and most sacred lakes in the world. Surrounded by snow-clad peaks, the lake offers breathtaking Himalayan views. Due to the high altitude, guests are advised to take necessary precautions.

After visiting the lake, return to Lachen for breakfast/check-out and continue to Lachung.

Dinner and overnight stay in Lachung.

Day 6: Lachung – Yumthang Valley – Zero Point (Optional) – Gangtok

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the enchanting Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft.), popularly known as the Valley of Flowers.

Guests may also opt to visit Zero Point (Yumesamdong) (at additional cost and subject to weather, road conditions, and permit availability).

On the return journey, visit the natural Yumthang Hot Spring, famous for its sulphur-rich water believed to possess medicinal properties.

Later, drive back to Gangtok and check in to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 7: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok covering:

• Tashi View Point

• Ganesh Tok

• Hanuman Tok

• Bakthang Waterfall

• Banjhakri Waterfalls & Energy Park

The remainder of the day is free to explore the lively MG Marg, where you can enjoy shopping, cafés, and local street food.

Day 8: Gangtok – Namchi – Ravangla – Pelling

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Pelling.

En route, visit:

• Temi Tea Garden

• Ravangla Buddha Park

• Namchi Char Dham (Siddhesvara Dham)

• Sai Temple

• Samdruptse Hill (Guru Padmasambhava Statue)

Continue to Pelling and check in to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Pelling.

Day 9: Pelling Sightseeing – NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport

After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Pelling covering:

• Chenrezig Skywalk

• Sanghak Choeling Monastery

• Pemayangtse Monastery

• Rabdentse Ruins

• Bird Park

Later, transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of Sikkim and the Eastern Himalayas.
