North Sikkim & Gangtok Tour with Nathula Pass

Day 1: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Gangtok

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, meet and greet our representative and transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). Enjoy the scenic drive along the Teesta River. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free for leisure or to explore the vibrant surroundings at your own pace.

Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2: Gangtok – Lachen

After an early breakfast, drive towards Lachen (9,400 ft.), a picturesque mountain village in North Sikkim.

En route, enjoy the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes and visit:

• Seven Sisters Waterfall

• Naga Waterfall

• Chungthang (Confluence of Lachen Chu & Lachung Chu Rivers)

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant (as per itinerary). Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.

Dinner and overnight stay in Lachen.

Day 3: Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake – Lachung

Early in the morning, drive to the magnificent Gurudongmar Lake (17,000 ft.), one of the highest and most sacred lakes in the world. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks, the lake offers spectacular panoramic views. Due to the high altitude, visitors are advised to avoid strenuous activities and take necessary precautions.

After visiting the lake, return to Lachen for breakfast/check-out and continue your journey to Lachung.

Dinner and overnight stay in Lachung.

Day 4: Yumthang Valley – Zero Point (Optional) – Lachung

After breakfast, proceed to the enchanting Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft.), popularly known as the Valley of Flowers, famous for its alpine meadows, colourful blooms, and stunning mountain scenery.

Guests may also visit Zero Point (Yumesamdong) at an additional cost, subject to weather and permit availability.

On the return journey, visit the natural Yumthang Hot Spring, renowned for its sulphur-rich water believed to have medicinal properties.

Return to the hotel for lunch and spend the remaining day at leisure.

Dinner and overnight stay in Lachung.

Day 5: Lachung – Gangtok

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Gangtok through the scenic mountain roads of North Sikkim.

Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. The evening is free for leisure or shopping at MG Marg.

Day 6: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok covering:

• Tashi View Point

• Bakthang Waterfall

• Banjhakri Waterfalls & Energy Park

• Ganesh Tok

• Hanuman Tok

• Lhasa Falls

• Flower Exhibition Centre

• Plant Conservatory (subject to availability)

Return to the hotel in the evening. You may spend your free time exploring MG Marg, the city's popular shopping and entertainment hub.

Day 7: Tsomgo Lake – Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir – Nathula Pass

After an early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.), a sacred glacial lake nestled amidst snow-clad mountains.

Continue to the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (13,200 ft.), followed by a visit to the famous Nathula Pass, one of the highest motorable mountain passes on the Indo-China border (subject to permit availability and weather conditions).

Return to Gangtok by evening.

Day 8: Gangtok – NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of the Eastern Himalayas.
