🗓️ Day 1: Guwahati Airport / Railway Station – Kamakhya Temple – Bhalukpong
On arrival at Guwahati Airport or Guwahati Railway Station, meet and greet our representative and begin your journey with a visit to the sacred Maa Kamakhya Temple for VIP Darshan (subject to availability). After seeking blessings, proceed towards Bhalukpong via Nagaon. En route, visit the magnificent Mahamrityunjay Temple, home to one of the world's tallest Shiva Lingas. Continue your scenic drive to Bhalukpong. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bhalukpong.
🗓️ Day 2: Bhalukpong – Dirang
After breakfast, drive towards the beautiful hill town of Dirang. En route, visit the famous Tipi Orchid Research Centre, home to hundreds of orchid species, followed by Nag Mandir and the picturesque Nechiphu Waterfall. Continue your journey through the breathtaking Himalayan landscape. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dirang.
🗓️ Day 3: Dirang – Tawang
After an early breakfast, proceed towards Tawang, one of Arunachal Pradesh's most spectacular destinations. En route, stop at Baisakhi Army Camp, cross the majestic Sela Pass (13,700 ft), one of the highest motorable mountain passes in India, and admire the beauty of Sela Lake. Enjoy lunch at Nuranang / Jaswantgarh area (depending on travel schedule). Continue to Tawang, arriving by evening. Check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.
🗓️ Day 4: Tawang Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Tawang. Visit the iconic Tawang Monastery, the largest monastery in India and one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in the world. Continue to the Tawang War Memorial, dedicated to the brave soldiers of the 1962 Indo-China War. If time permits, visit the Craft Centre and explore the local market. The evening is free for shopping and leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.
🗓️ Day 5: Bum La Pass – Madhuri Lake Excursion
After an early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Bum La Pass (subject to permit availability and weather conditions), located on the Indo-China border. En route, visit the beautiful PTSO Lake and the picturesque Sangetsar Lake (Madhuri Lake), made famous by the Bollywood movie Koyla. Return to Tawang in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
🗓️ Day 6: Tawang – Bomdila
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Bomdila. En route, visit the magnificent Nuranang (Jung) Waterfall, pass through scenic apple orchards, traditional Monpa villages, and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. Upon arrival in Bomdila, visit the famous GRL Monastery (Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery)Â before checking in to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bomdila.
🗓️ Day 7: Bomdila – Guwahati Airport / Railway Station
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Guwahati Airport or Guwahati Railway Station for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Arunachal Pradesh's majestic mountains, serene monasteries, pristine lakes, and rich cultural heritage.
